Hi, I’m Jes.

For me, photography has always been about more than taking pictures — it’s about connection, storytelling, and capturing the essence of a moment.

I grew up in Concord, Massachusetts, where artist David Prifti first introduced me to photography. He taught me not just technique, but how to truly see — to find beauty in everyday light and fleeting moments.

In 2011, my passion led me to South Africa, where I spent months tracking wildlife and learning to observe with patience and presence. Through my lens, I began to understand the power of images to preserve memory, emotion, and story.

I later studied Photography and Sculpture at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, deepening my understanding of craft, composition, and visual storytelling. That foundation shapes the style I bring to photographing today: a blend of artistry, natural light, and timelessness.

When I photograph, I approach it much like I did those wild moments — as something extraordinary, fleeting, and worth preserving. Your story matters, and I’d be honored to tell it through images you’ll treasure for a lifetime.
